Goblin House
Ceramic and glaze, moss and carnivorous plants. 2026.
On display for Celestial Spring, a fairy house festival at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center in Providence, RI. This sculpture offers a more grotesque interpretation of traditional fairy houses by drawing inspiration from the bog exhibit, which is home to Venus flytraps, pitcher plants, and sundews. The grate on the top, which is also ceramic with a metallic glaze, is removable to allow viewers to peer into the wormy interior.
